Trédaniel plan d'eau, morning.

By the water, the first pink stars of ragged robin, and at the roadsides, dark purple wild orchids, drifts of them, growing in the long grass as carefree as bluebells.

Oh, I want to see those orchids!

I walked along a heavily forested road today, and you could see drifts of bluebells in the spaces between the trees. They almost glowed in the shade, although that sounds contradictory.

No, blue does glow in the shade. There's a DH Lawrence poem about gentians that captures that... thanks for stopping by!

... oh, and I'll try to photograph the orchids; I didn't have the camera. They weren't quite up to your blueboonets, mind!

Thanks for the pics -- and really kind words.

I wondered if you took a walk today . . . or spent all day in the garden the way I did. ?

I went and got a bit of shopping, walked on the old railtrack and admired the beech trees, I think, and then cut the grass in the afternoon. I think I couldn't think of anything new to say and then got distracted, hence no new post here!
