Up the road or down, sometimes further afield, often not for long, we're out most days.

Down the road, evening.
A head of dandelions, big as a cabbage, forty flowers easily, all perpendicular on bright green, wine red stems, closed upwards, geometric, heraldic, ruffed with floss white and yellow tips.
I know that dandelions are the bane of those who like pristine carpets of evenly bladed grasses, but, my, how I love those little flowers. Thank you, Lucy, for another vivd word picture that lets me walk with you on your strolls.
