Up the road or down, sometimes further afield, often not for long, we're out most days.

Up the road, afternoon
A clean, rain-rinsed world; pet black sheep in a paddock with a green plastic dog's bowl, a patch of boiled-sweet coloured dahlias, red, yellow, orange and purple, beside them.
These were at a house at Bel Orient, where I think a young family live, as well as the sheep! We have dahlias, but not all mixed up colours together like this, and perhaps slightly more subtle colours. But I've become very fond of all kinds of dahlias, except perhaps the spikey red and pink ones together...

Are the dahlias yours, or a neighbor's? There IS something sugary about the colours of a dahlia.
