Sunset uplights gilded clouds, renders distant grain silos and windturbines chalky pink.
A flock of high-flying curlews, I count in threes, thirty at least before they are out of sight.

Up the road or down, sometimes further afield, often not for long, we're out most days.

Did you have DST in France? We were out walking quite late, enjoying the extended day. No chalky pinks -- but a truly blue sky.
