Down the road, afternoon.


I went hunting lapwings with the camera, but they always whirl up and away before I can get close, which at least shows their black and white against the nutbrown fields.

It's such a lovely effect, anyway. An impressionistic glimpse of flight.

Yes, I love the effect too. Beautiful photo which really gives a feel for landscape around where you live.

oh, thanks girls! Looks a bit better if you blow it up, despite the odd electricity wires over the brow of the hill which look as though they're about at eye level.

The lapwings sit tantalisingly close when I'm driving past in the car, usually without the camera!
