Up the road or down, sometimes further afield, often not for long, we're out most days.

Up the road, evening.
I've chiselled half a square meter of wall for repointing, and swum for half an hour. The walk in the cooling evening air and lengthening shadows is the final tonic.
I suppose I have rather; it won't last! Monday's my swimming day, though the little local pool is quite crowded in the summer, and swimming a straight length isn't easy. But the masonry work made me dusty so it was nice to cool off.

Have you prescribed yourself lots of exercise?
I'm very fond of the word "tonic" in any context, but in conjunction with the word "cooling" I can't help but think of gin.

Nice to have you back!
