Up the road or down, sometimes further afield, often not for long, we're out most days.

Up the road, afternoon
The unknown English owners of the Sad House, must have returned at last. Though glad to see shutters open and grass cut, I experience a slight panic at possible acquaintance...
No, sorry, unclear. I mena if I get to know them I'll feel obliged to ask them round and make friends and although I'm really shy exactly I always shrink rather from that stage of getting to know people... also as they're geographically so close if we don't really like them it would be difficult to avoid them.
On the other hand they don't seem to be there all that often, so perhaps I'll try. I don't think I'll march up to the door though, I'll just walk past more often and speak if someone's around. There, compromise decided!
I am quite convinced houses can have atmospheres, but also that they can be healed and changed like that too. Some places do seem to attract unlucky occupants. It's quite a modern house so it hasn't had centuries of complex karma building up...!

Oooooh, I can't wait to hear what "they" are like! Do you believe that houses can be haunted, or cursed, or have bad karma?
By possible acquaintance do you mean a "previous" (because they are English) acquaintance?

Sorry, I meant to say I'm *not* really shy.
The Sad House wants to be lived in? Sad-eyed with shutters?
