Up the road, evening.

Air like wine, a cliché, but now after the rain the air and light are like a glass of Anjou rosé, not too chilled, sweet, quaffable, easy and indulgent. Drink deep.

I love this one. Perhaps there's a whole blog there: every time you get a day with air like wine, you have to describe it and say which wine it is like.

Or perhaps, every time you drink a new wine, you have to say what sort of a day it is like.

Thanks Clare, nice to see you! Not sure my palate, oenological knowledge or powers of description would quite be up to that, but I'm sure there are those that could...
