Up the road, afternoon.

Victor's dahlias are in full swing in the patch in front of his concrete breeze wall.  Some of them are perfectly balanced bicolours, like stylised red and white cauliflowers.

I can never bother with dahlias, myself. (I don't like bulbs that have to be dug up as that seems way too much palaver.) However, I enjoy looking at other people's dahlias.

Hello Bee!

We had some nice dahlias one year but failed to dig them up and that was that. The odd thing is I've never seen Victor digging up or replanting his in all the time we've lived here, but he must do, because last winter would have finished them for sure...
