The old railtrack, Gare de Moncontour, afternoon.

On the darkest part of the track, the hawthorns overhead have dropped millions of tiny round petals, so the black ground is covered in a pointillist array of white dots.

I didn't have the camera, but I think in fact it would have been to dark, and the white dots too small, to catch it. Some was still drifting down as we went!
